What you will do
  • Lead the implementation and management of Kanban systems to optimize workflow and material movement.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to identify opportunities for improvement and eliminate waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes and ensure alignment with Lean principles.
  • Train and mentor team members on Kanban methodology and Lean practices.
  • Analyze data and metrics to drive continuous improvements and report on progress to management.


How you will do it
  • Utilize Lean tools and methodologies to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engage with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate staff on Kanban and Lean techniques.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Kanban systems and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to management about project statuses and team performance.


What are we looking for

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles, particularly Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.

Preferred:
  • Experience in a leadership role within a Lean transformation initiative.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with manufacturing processes.


HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis.
