Coho Consulting Group is seeking a
Junior/Entry-Level Power Platform Developer to support Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD) by providing direct technical support to customers within the Facilities Operations and Services Division (FOSD) in Arlington, VA.
The selected candidate will assist with developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions, technology integrations, and process automations designed to modernize manual business processes and improve operational efficiency. This position is well suited for an early-career professional who has foundational experience with software development, databases, Microsoft 365, or low-code/no-code technologies and is interested in expanding their Power Platform expertise.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, at least 2-3 days per week and reports to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):- Power Apps Development: Assist with designing, configuring, and building custom Power Apps to modernize manual processes and support business requirements.
- Process Automation: Develop basic automated workflows using Power Automate to support notifications, approvals, data synchronization, and other routine business processes.
- Data Management: Assist with configuring data structures, tables, relationships, and security components within Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint.
- Application Support: Provide initial technical support for existing Power Platform applications, workflows, and internal technology solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application and workflow issues.
- Application Enhancements: Support minor modifications, updates, and improvements to existing applications and automated processes.
- Microsoft 365 Integration: Assist with integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and related business tools.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain clear documentation covering application designs, workflow logic, configurations, processes, and user guidance.
- Data Integrity: Support proper data organization and configuration to promote data accuracy, accessibility, and consistency.
- Collaboration: Work with project teams, customers, and technical personnel to understand requirements and support effective solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay engaged with emerging Power Platform capabilities and develop proficiency in low-code/no-code application architecture.
- Other Duties: Perform other related technical duties as assigned in support of program and customer requirements.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:- Clearance and Citizenship:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; or
- Equivalent practical training, technical education, or bootcamp experience demonstrating applicable knowledge and skills
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience with software development concepts, database design, Microsoft 365 environments, or related technical disciplines
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power BI
- Understanding of relational database concepts, such as SQL Server, Microsoft Access, or Microsoft Dataverse
- Basic exposure to Excel formulas and/or programming or scripting concepts such as JavaScript, HTML, or PowerFx is preferred
- Experience maintaining Microsoft Dataverse environments, including data modeling and security configuration, is preferred
- Federal government experience is preferred but not required

Position Pay Range
$89,000-$100,000 USD
