Full Job Description
CSCI is seeking a Junior Contracts Administrator to join our Contracts team and support important programs that contribute to national security. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of contracts experience who is eager to grow and learn. The Junior Contracts Administrator will support DoD customers, assist with drafting and negotiating various agreements, and help monitor contract funding and adherence.

This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Administer assigned U.S. Federal Government and DoD prime contracts and/or subcontracts, including managing modification process, funding requests, and other correspondence with our Government customers.
  • Support the tracking of contract deliverables, funding, period of performance, and key milestones.
  • Maintain contract and subcontract files and documentation in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations, applicable laws, and/or company policies and procedures.
  • Support proposal teams by gathering contract data, reviewing solicitation requirements, and preparing administrative sections.
  • Assist with NDA processing, teaming agreements, and subcontract documentation.
  • Assist with data entry into contract management systems and government portals.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.


Skills - Minimum of 2 Years Experience

Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of experience with government contracting, procurement, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with US Government prime contracts, task orders, and subcontracts of various types ( i.e. GWAC, IDIQ, FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus).
  • Familiarity with the FAR/DFARS or other federal acquisition frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the contracts field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active security clearance.
  • Interest in pursuing professional certifications ( e.g., NCMA's CCMA, CFCM, CPCM).

Compensation
Compensation at CSCI is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of CSCI's total compensation package.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $100,000/Yr
