Full Job Description
CSCI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will join a small, agile contracts team with experienced contracts professionals. The Contracts Administrator supports developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. This position requires a clear communication style, contractual knowledge, and strong business and customer acumen.

This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, status reporting, product delivery, and closeout.
  • Begin to provide advice on and interpretation of contract requirements, White papers, and capture strategy.
  • Prepare and maintain the RFP checklist, and participate in the review and preparation of proposals, including communication and scheduling details and coordination of requirements.
  • Create clear, organized cost and pricing data, charts, graphs and formatting to start presenting data trends to stakeholders using Excel.
  • Administer contractual elements of change management.
  • Propose and facilitate contract modifications and may lead negotiations when required.
  • Coordinate contract requirement fulfillment with programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Skills - Minimum of 5 Years Experience

Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in contracts, proposals, and business operations management required.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.) and knowledge of various contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, and OTA.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of government contractor management ERP systems; experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to work closely with operating management and other corporate functions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under deadline pressure. Typical workloads may include overseeing multiple concurrent contracts and proposals on tight schedules, with frequent deadlines tied to federal proposal submissions and contract modifications. Applicants should be comfortable managing priorities during periods of high volume, where several key deliverables can be due in the same week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Certifications (preferred): NCMA CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM
  • Commercial contracting experience considered a plus

Compensation
Compensation at CSCI is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of CSCI's total compensation package.
Salary Range
$105,000 - $130,000/Yr
