POSITION TITLE

IT Strategy & Performance Operations Manager

Richmond, Virginia

*A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.

YOUR ROLE

The IT Strategy & Performance Operations Manager supports how IT plans, measures, and delivers against its strategic priorities. Working under the leadership of the Director of IT Strategy & Performance, this role coordinates planning and performance activities, tracks key initiatives, and develops clear, leadership-ready reporting and materials. This role brings together information from across IT, identifies gaps and emerging issues, prepares executive-ready materials, and helps maintain the operating rhythms needed to translate strategy into consistent execution. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized, analytical professional who enjoys connecting data, priorities, and people to improve transparency, follow-through, and decision-making.

What you will be doing
  • Strategy & Planning Support
  • Support IT strategy and planning cycles by coordinating inputs, drafting materials, and maintaining roadmaps and artifacts
  • Track strategic initiatives, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring progress and risks are visible to the Director
  • Maintain clarity across priorities so strategy translates into consistent execution
  • Performance Management & Reporting
  • Prepare IT performance materials including scorecards, dashboards, and summaries across delivery, financials, workforce, and operations
  • Pull together data from multiple sources, identify inconsistencies, and surface trends or issues for review
  • Support the cadence of performance reviews by managing agendas, pre-reads, and follow-ups
  • Coordination & Operating Rhythm
  • Coordinate cross-IT inputs for strategy, performance, and executive deliverables
  • Manage operating rhythms (monthly, quarterly) to ensure materials are ready, meetings run smoothly, and actions are tracked
  • Follow up on commitments, decisions, and next steps to keep work moving forward
  • Executive Readiness & Materials
  • Draft leadership-ready materials (slides, summaries, talking points) for the Director's review and refinement
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging and data
  • Maintain version control and artifact discipline for leadership deliverables
  • Enablement & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, templates, and workflows
  • Help embed repeatable, low-friction ways of working
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and other teams to gather inputs and maintain alignment


What you bring
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT consulting, operations, strategy execution, enterprise PMO, or technology-focused business roles
  • Experience working with IT teams and familiarity with technology-related roles and responsibilities, as well as the latest trends and challenges in the IT industry
  • Strong background managing complex cross-functional initiatives, programs, or operational processes and translating information into actionable plans and leadership reporting
  • Experience with performance reporting, workforce metrics, or financial tracking
  • Critical Skills & Attributes include ability to;
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready recommendations
  • Drive execution and follow-through across multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Analyze data and translate insights into actionable decisions

COMPENSATION

National Range: $96,700 - $145,000

Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
