Full Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the Senior Systems Analyst will translate our business needs into system requirments and keep our platforms in good working order. This position will oversee the systems that run our operations and help scale our growing business.
The pay range is $105,000 - $140,000 per year.
This position is office based with occasional travel to store locations as needed. This position has a home base in the UTC area of San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities
-Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear system specifications and functional designs.-Configure, administer, and support core platforms and the interfaces between them, including menu/item data, labor and sales exports, GL feeds, and employee data sync.-Lead system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for upgrades, patches, and new rollouts.-Troubleshoot escalated system issues from stores and HQ; drive root-cause analysis and resolution.-Partner with the IT Manager and vendors on system upgrades, data migrations, and new store technology setup.-Lead system readiness for new store openings and remodels: system builds, item and pricing setup, validation, and day-one support.-Maintain system documentation, process maps, and data-integrity standards across integrated platforms.-Build reports, dashboards, and queries that support Operations, Finance, and People teams.-Participate in after-hours and weekend support coverage for critical issues affecting store operations.-Support security and compliance requirements across in-scope systems, including PCI DSS, access reviews, and least-privilege user provisioning.
Qualifications
REQUIRED -5+ years of experience as a systems or business analyst, ideally supporting multi-site retail or restaurant operations.-Strong working knowledge of POS, inventory, or HRIS/payroll systems and their integrations.-Proven experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, and leading UAT.-Strong SQL, reporting, and data-analysis skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).-Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or retail/restaurant systems experience.
