Your contribution:The IT Project Manager reports directly to the Director, Project Management Office. As a member of the IT team, the Project Manager must be enthusiastic about taking on stimulating challenges, open-minded and constantly on the lookout for innovative solutions.
Main responsibilities:- Plan and supervise the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
- Monitor processes for project definition, control, execution and closure following standards set by the PMO (based on Waterfall methodologies).
- Develop and implement project plans and statements of work. Establish schedules and follow up on all execution activities.
- Document project reviews, meetings, work sessions and action logs.
- Manage risks and establish appropriate mitigation measures.
- Build strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure harmonization and adoption of solutions.
- Manage expectations and contributions of stakeholders (Internet and/or external).
- Provide guidance and support to the project team.
- Communicate project status, risks and perspectives to stakeholders.
- Provide mentoring to other project managers.
- Work closely with the PMO Director to prioritize projects and optimize processes and tools.
- Work closely with different teams to plan resources effectively.
- Collaborate with business units and functions to help plan, control and execute each project phase and activity according to best practices.

Required qualifications:- Experience or training as a project manager or coordinator in a fast-paced business environment.
- You will be required to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, on a daily basis with your work colleagues located elsewhere in English-speaking Canada.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, MS Project, SmartSheet and Visio.
- PMP and PSM certifications (an asset).
- Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
