Responsibilities

  • Ensure all IT documentation is current and properly archived to adhere to governance, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate IT testing and deployment activities involving business analysts and developers, managing post-release bug resolution until closure.
  • Communicate project status consistently to Operations, Compliance, and global Project Management stakeholders.
  • Drive project delivery readiness at each phase gate, from development through to production support handover.

Location: NYC (Hybrid - at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a talented IT Project Manager to join our team and work on Global Markets Operations projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery and be passionate about driving post-trade IT initiatives from build through to production.

Role and responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the IT project plan in Jira, keeping it in sync with the global program plan and flagging risks before they become problems
  • Track IT change requests, budgets, and dependencies end-to-end, adjusting plans as the project evolves
  • Make sure all IT documentation is produced, up to date, and properly archived to meet governance, audit, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate IT testing and deployment activities across business analysts and developers, and stay on top of post-release bugs until closure
  • Communicate project status clearly and regularly to Operations, Compliance, and the global Project Manager
  • Drive delivery readiness at each phase gate, from build through go-live and handover to production support


Qualifications
  • +5 years in finance or banking IT, with a mix of business analysis, development, and project management work
  • Agile or PMP background, ideally on Operations or Regulatory IT projects
  • Strong hands-on Jira and Agile Scrum experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field
