Join RBC Investor Services' Transformation Office as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders and business leaders. In this role, you'll be the critical link between Project financials, execution, and decision-making - translating data into actionable insights that shape how we invest in our future.
You'll work directly with the Director, Transformation to provide real-time visibility into our strategic project portfolio, enabling leadership to make informed decisions on spend prioritization and resource allocation. This is a high-impact role, where your analysis drives board-level conversations and influences strategic direction. You will partner with a variety of internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive reporting on the project portfolio - where we spend, why and associated benefit and risk profiles.
What will you do?- Drive Strategic Insights: Synthesize financial data, project status, and market dynamics into compelling analyses that influence executive decision-making and board presentations
- Tell the Portfolio Story: Partner with finance, project teams, and business leaders to build comprehensive reporting on where we spend, why, and the benefits and risks tied to each investment
- Champion Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to strengthen our project financial governance, reporting systems, and decision frameworks
- Build Trust Across Organizations: Act as the objective voice in strategic discussions, assessing projects independently and serving as an escalation point for governance questions
- Thrive in Ambiguity: Navigate competing priorities, emerging challenges, and complex stakeholder landscapes - you'll be the "glue" connecting disparate teams and information sources into cohesive process
- Help promote a culture of integrity by promoting open, honest and transparent dealing in the day-to-day management of projects financials, working with the team to act as an escalation point, as appropriate
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- Undergraduate degree in business or commerce
- 3+ years' experience in investment banking, business strategy, advisory, corporate accounting, FP&A or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in preparing materials and presentations for executive audiences
- Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources into clear, articulate analyses and / or presentations
- Ability to effectively manage competing timelines and priorities for multiple teams
Nice-to-have:- Exposure to project management, portfolio management, or transformation initiatives
- Experience working in matrix or ambiguous organizational environments
- Familiarity with project governance frameworks or strategic planning methodologies

Pay RangeThe expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
