Your role

Are you a proven investment banking professional with deep Financial Institutions Group (FIG) expertise? We're looking for somebody to join our FIG Coverage team to drive client engagement, strategic advisory, and origination across a portfolio of financial institution clients.
In this role, you will:

-develop and manage senior client relationships across banks, insurers, asset managers, and specialty finance companies
-originate and execute a broad range of transactions, including M&A, equity and debt capital raising, and other strategic advisory engagements
-partner with product teams (ECM, DCM, Leveraged Finance, M&A) to deliver integrated solutions to clients
-lead client dialogue, including idea generation, pitching, and execution oversight
-support sector coverage strategy, including identifying growth opportunities and market themes
-manage transaction processes end-to-end, coordinating internal teams and external advisors
-mentor and develop junior bankers, fostering a high-performance team environment

Your team

You'll be part of the FIG Coverage team within Global Banking, working closely with product partners and colleagues across the Americas and global platform. The team focuses on delivering strategic advice and capital solutions to clients operating across the financial services landscape.

Your expertise

significant experience in investment banking, with strong FIG sector coverage

deep understanding of financial institutions, including regulatory and capital frameworks
demonstrated ability to build and manage senior client relationships
strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York USD 275000 /annum
