Full Job Description
Investigator Support Analyst to support a Government Client by providing analytical and operational support for the Law Enforcement Information Management System (LEIMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, supporting law enforcement reporting, conducting trend analysis, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing analytical products that support protective security and law enforcement operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain procedures supporting the documentation of law enforcement and protective security responses to events at federal facilities.
  • Capture, validate, analyze, and formulate data-driven reports utilizing the Law Enforcement Information Management System (LEIMS).
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of regionally approved reports and identify deficiencies in policy compliance, reporting quality, and content.
  • Develop national trend analyses and quarterly reports based on law enforcement and protective security reporting.
  • Coordinate data integrity reviews and prepare status reports and executive presentations to ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.
  • Prepare and deliver law enforcement and protective security briefings for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the Headquarters point of contact for external agencies regarding law enforcement and protective security reporting issues.
  • Provide LEIMS Help Desk support for field personnel, including account management, issue triage, and user assistance.
  • Conduct statistical reporting and analysis utilizing LEIMS data.
  • Develop responses to Government Accountability Office (GAO), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Congressional, and other oversight inquiries.
  • Validate information contained within LEIMS and resolve discrepancies through coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Gather, compile, and document business requirements for law enforcement and protective security reporting enhancements within LEIMS.
  • Coordinate Operations and Maintenance (O&M) efforts with the Information Technology Division (ITD) and system contractors.
  • Support future system enhancements by assisting with requirements development and resource planning.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and policy documentation supporting program objectives.
  • Collaborate with multiple organizational components to accomplish mission requirements.
  • Assist with special projects and additional assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project, program management, or related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years conducting analytical and support activities related to law enforcement, investigations, information systems, intelligence, or a similar operational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical and operational data.
  • Ability to read and interpret management policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using collaboration and administrative support tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and supporting enterprise administrative systems.
  • Ability to organize meetings, coordinate projects, and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal law enforcement, homeland security, or protective security programs.
  • Experience working with law enforcement information systems such as LEIMS or similar case management/reporting systems.
  • Experience performing statistical analysis and trend reporting.
  • Experience providing Help Desk or system administration support.
  • Experience preparing executive briefings and responses to oversight organizations.
  • Familiarity with Government Accountability Office (GAO), DHS, or Congressional reporting requirements.
