Full Job Description
One Federal Solution is seeking a highly skilled Statistical Modeling & Simulation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a Government Client by providing advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, simulation, and data-driven insights that support strategic planning and organizational decision-making. The successful candidate will leverage quantitative analysis, statistical methodologies, and visualization techniques to evaluate trends, develop predictive models, and deliver actionable recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis to support organizational initiatives and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models, simulation models, and analytical methodologies.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations that communicate key performance metrics.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate program performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Support forecasting, workload analysis, resource planning, and simulation activities.
  • Prepare executive briefings, technical reports, white papers, and presentation materials that communicate analytical findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and develop analytical solutions.
  • Support cost estimating efforts, including lifecycle cost estimates (LCCE), Basis of Estimate (BOE), Cost Estimating Baseline Documents (CEBD), and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), as applicable.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, quality assurance, and documentation of analytical methodologies.
  • Develop recommendations that improve business processes and organizational performance.
  • Manage multiple analytical projects while meeting established deadlines and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of project, program management, or related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years conducting analytical and support activities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing statistical analysis, statistical modeling, simulation, predictive analytics, or related quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, or another statistical programming language to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and visualization platforms.
  • Experience developing predictive models, forecasting models, or simulation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of operational research, statistical forecasting, or decision science techniques.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Experience with cost analysis, financial modeling, or resource planning.
