Full Job Description
As the Internal Communications and Science Writer, you will create compelling content for both internal and external audiences, focusing on scientific research, advancements, and academic achievements. Key Responsibilities: • Develop newsworthy stories highlighting basic and translational biomedical science • Translate complex scientific concepts for peer audiences and the general public • Produce content for websites, social media, press releases, and internal communications • Write department announcements, executive messages, and community blog posts • Collaborate with UCLA Health media relations, marketing, and internal communications teams • Work closely with the communications team, including graphic artists, photographers, and videographers, to craft engaging stories Salary Range: $70,900 - $145,200/annually
