  • Conduct traffic counts for roadways and intersections to determine the volume of traffic, where the traffic is going to and from, and the type of traffic on the roadway.
  • Take a second look at safety features on the road, recommending traffic safety enhancement projects on the basis of respective studies.
  • Determine appropriate signage, signals, and pavement markings along a new or existing road.
  • Investigate accident data and determine if changes can be made to roadways or intersections to make it safer for all who use the roads.
  • Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, and illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
  • Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting.
