Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in transit bus maintenance management.
• Experience managing a team of over 10 employees.
• Worked with a fleet of 50+ buses in the last year.
• Preferred background in passenger transportation projects.
• Skilled in budget management for maintenance operations.
• Proficient in managing parts inventories and vendor relationships.
• Effective communicator across all staff levels.
• Familiarity with computer software for documentation and planning.
• Technical expertise in light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repairs.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus. 
• Knowledge of audit management and preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance operations for fixed route bus services.
• Oversee compliance with contractual maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance reports.
• Manage a budget for maintenance programs effectively.
• Prioritize, implement, and manage work schedules and assignments.
• Interface and communicate with clients regarding maintenance needs.
• Control parts inventory and maintain relationships with suppliers.
