Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager for the Seattle, WA location to administer, design and engineer the company’s Citrix/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) farms to deliver applications to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices and outsourced locations.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with business teams to provide optional technology solutions for application delivery to remote users at corporate sites, branch offices, and outsourced locations.

• Utilize entire suite of Citrix and Virtual products including Citrix Cloud (DaaS), ControlUP, LiquidWare, Citrix App Layering, Azure and VMWare ESX/VCenter.

• Manage servers and desktops within a VMware ESX environment, including utilizing VMWare and Citrix software to manage thousands of virtual servers which support a user base of 65,000+ colleagues throughout the company.

• Lead diverse team of industry experts supporting 65,000+ colleagues globally using Citrix products and tools.

• Define and drive the strategic direction of the Citrix infrastructure and related virtualization technologies.

• Align Citrix engineering initiatives with broader IT and business goals.

• Promote team development by providing training opportunities and stretch assignments.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

• Drive automation and optimization of Citrix operations and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, desktop support, and application teams.

• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computers or Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience.

• Requires experience with: Administration of Citrix farms via management console;

• With Citrix infrastructure design for large scale deployments;

• Administration of Citrix Management utilities such as: Citrix License Server, Citrix PVS (Provisioning Services), ControlUP, Cloud Connectors, Citrix App Layering;

• Managing and engineering Citrix NetScaler technology for access gateway, ssl/vpn, ICA proxy and load-balancing solutions;

• Administration of Terminal Server Licensing and Management of User Profiles via Citrix WEM and UPM;

• Virtualizing and streaming applications in MS App-V and Citrix App Layering; and

• Writing scripts for automating tasks, app deployments and reports.

Salary Range: $198,390-$230,500


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 138,300 - 230,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
