Job Summary

We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of enterprise IT environments. This role will leverage infrastructure automation, configuration management, cloud technologies, and deployment tools to ensure consistent provisioning, monitoring, and management of infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze infrastructure requirements, including application dependencies, licensing needs, and availability requirements.
• Evaluate and document infrastructure deployment prerequisites.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure deployment plans.
• Design infrastructure architectures based on business requirements and organizational standards.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Monitor infrastructure services and system performance.
• Deploy application artifacts, including JAR files, WAR files, DLLs, configuration files, and related components.
• Build and manage configuration transformations based on application requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade infrastructure and applications as needed.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Support cloud-based infrastructure provisioning and management activities.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-12 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, or related disciplines.
• Recent experience supporting Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets environments.
• Proven experience with infrastructure automation and automated provisioning solutions.
• Experience delivering projects that reduced or eliminated manual operational processes.
• 3-4 years of experience developing and maintaining Shell scripting solutions.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows-based deployments.
• Experience with Shell and PowerShell scripting.
• Basic understanding of Java and .NET-based applications.
• Experience working with Claude, Mythos, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing scalable and highly available infrastructure architectures.
• Experience supporting enterprise application deployments and release automation.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple applications and deployment pipelines.
