Contribute code to increase the scalability and reliability of the service. Contribute software tests and participate in peer review to increase the quality of our codebase.
What You Will Do:
- Help and develop peers' capabilities through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration.
- Participate in a regular on-call schedule, including occasional paid weekends and holidays.
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
- Resolve customer issues escalated from the Red Hat Global Support team.
- Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE software, support peers, plan and self-improve.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Position requires working knowledge of the following skills gained through coursework or experience: building cloud resource providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP); software engineering using Golang or python; containers and Kubernetes on Linux; microservices development and architecture; and distributed source control systems with git/gitlab.

The salary range for this position is $92,140 - $147,470/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
