Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team supporting a
Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs
- Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Establish and maintain operational security posture.
- Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.
- Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.
- Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
- Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF
MInimum Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience with ISSE/ISSO
- Knowledge of current security tools
- Experience with Hardware/software security implementation
- Experience with Encryption techniques/tools
Preferred qualifications:- Experience with Splunk (search and reporting)
- Experience building Splunk dashboards
- Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes
Security Clearance Requirements:Physical Requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $91,600.00-$153,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
