Full Job Description
Overview

As an Implementation Consultant, you will help our airline clients to implement our software, and to get the most value out of it during active usage. You will work with clients on requirements gathering and analysis as well as hands-on software configuration, testing, end user training, and support. Using extensive product knowledge and good communication and relationship-building skills, you will provide white-glove service, establishing trust and credibility quickly and acting as an advisor throughout the client's use of the software.

What you will do

  • Work directly with our clients to understand, analyze, and document their business needs
  • Explain data feed requirements to clients, and discuss potential data architectures
  • Analyze clients' data samples and schemas, map data elements to our internal data model, and document data mapping requirements
  • Determine the best product configuration to meet a client's needs
  • Run configuration workshops with client staff, guiding them through key business rule configuration decisions
  • Perform configuration of the product, working with client staff as well as independently, according to previously-agreed requirements
  • Provide feedback on clients' needs to other teams, including Development, Product, and QA, to inform roadmap decisions and to help direct development of client-specific integration components where necessary
  • Design and deliver training to clients' users on key underlying concepts as well as how to use the software effectively
  • Identify functional problems and work across multiple internal and client teams to drive resolution
  • Devise creative solutions for complex client requirements, including integration into new client systems
  • Deliver presentations on product functionality, product configuration, business benefits, and other topics relevant to clients
  • Assist in validating data integrity in newly provisioned environments
  • Support clients' user acceptance testing, answering questions and thoroughly investigating problem reports
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on the best way to solve specific business problems using our software
  • Support clients through the point where they realize benefits to their business - not just until the software is installed and configured
  • Contribute to improving our implementation framework and materials
  • Learn our products, how they work, and related technologies, improving your knowledge and capabilities over time
  • Some travel may be required (usually no more than 25%)

  • Solid knowledge of enterprise software systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on both technical and business topics, including delivering short, prepared presentations when required
  • Ability to understand a business need and explore it with questions, and translate that business need into appropriate technical requirements
  • Focus on continual learning and development
  • Can-do attitude and desire to be part of a focused & driven team.
  • Experience with the airline or travel industry is a significant asset.
