Full Job Description
Job Description:

The IMO Tech Global Function Portfolio Lead (Navigator) serves as the dedicated bridge and embedded program coordinator between functional delivery teams and the central Tech Blueprint (TB) Core Team. Acting as a critical pivot point, the Portfolio Lead ensures seamless alignment between central program engine and execution realities.

This role is designed to ensure connectivity between the central team and the functions, allowing functional delivery teams to remain focused on day-to-day execution, while ensuring they remain fully aligned with central governance, playbooks, and ways of working. The Navigator builds deep functional/regional knowledge over time-understanding functional projects, key stakeholders, and system interdependencies-and works hand-in-hand with digital Co-Pilots to orchestrate integrated plans across the functions and transversal teams.

Please note: The Global Function Portfolio Lead (Navigator) is not an individual project manager or scrum master, nor are they a replacement for functional/regional Co-Pilots. This is a highly collaborative, relationship-driven role requiring strong functional knowledge to credibly represent and influence key discussions.

What are we looking for?

The IMO Tech Global Function Portfolio Lead (Navigator) is a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced transformation environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and connectivity across complex organizations.

This role requires strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership enablement capabilities, with the ability to work across multiple teams, priorities, and senior stakeholders simultaneously. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, improving team effectiveness, supporting functional and leadership forums, and helping create operational consistency across a highly matrixed global organization.

The successful candidate will act as a connective layer across the broader Tech Blueprint ecosystem, helping improve collaboration, visibility, engagement, and organizational cohesion while supporting functional leaders in driving integrated execution across the Mars and Kellanova integration journey.

Key Responsibilities

1. Central Tech Blueprint (TB) Alignment
  • Cover central Tech Blueprint IMO meetings to stay current on governance, processes, and updated ways of working.
  • Translate complex central PMO guidelines and playbook requirements (Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Value) into actionable functional adoption steps.
  • Act as a bridge for questions regarding business case development and stage-gate governance process, reviewing submissions to align with central TB guidance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality updates in ServiceNow / PMXi (including milestones, risks, issues, and status details).
  • Shape the TB status narrative rolling up to executive leadership, packaging progress, risks, and escalations clearly and objectively.
  • Support leadership escalations by clearly framing issues, highlighting trade-offs, and routing them into the appropriate forums for resolution.
2. Functional Delivery Maintenance
  • Partner directly with functional delivery teams, Program Managers, and Digital Co-Pilots to ensure project/program have a clear path to successful execution.
  • Check in regularly with Project/Program Managers to review active project statuses and proactively flag potential blockers.
  • Actively manage functional "control tower" -progress, blockers, and day-to-day coordination-keeping the program and project leads focused on execution.
  • Work closely with DT Co-Pilot on demand coordination and resource allocation, ensuring leadership has clear visibility across the entire functional/regional project portfolio.
3. Cross Functional / Regional /Transversal Coordination
  • Lead cross-project coordination within the assigned function or region, synthesizing interdependencies while supporting the Co-Pilot in decision-making and escalation.
  • Coordinate with peer Navigators across different regions and functions to share best practices, ensure consistency in ways of working, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
  • Onboard into processes with relevant transversal teams (Enterprise Architecture, Change, Value Creation, IT4IT, Data), and activate necessary ways of working with the functions

RACI Matrix Alignment

In this role, your responsibility boundaries are defined as follows:
  • Accountable & Responsible (A/R): Rolling out Tech Blueprint standards and playbooks (Gov, EA, Value) across the region/function, translating requirements, and ensuring adoption.
  • Responsible (R): Preparing the functional/regional status narrative for TB reporting; managing functional escalations (synthesizing details for the Co-Pilot); leading cross-region & cross-function process coordination.
  • Consulted (C): Executing TB standards at the project level; guiding cross-project coordination; shaping leadership escalations.
  • Informed (I): Project-level execution processes, day-to-day delivery decisions, and project intake/business case results (led/owned by PMs and Co-Pilots).

Education & Professional Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in project management, project management office (PMO) coordination, business analysis, portfolio management, or digital transformation, preferably within a large multinational or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • System Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planner, Loop, and Copilot. Strong familiarity with project portfolio management tools, particularly ServiceNow, Smartsheets, PowerBI, etc.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to synthesize complex project updates, risks, and resource requirements into clear executive summaries.

  • Professional presence with experience presenting program updates flawlessly to senior leaders and C-suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across different teams and stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, onboarding activities, communications, or team engagement activities
