Job Description:

The TO Program Director has responsibility for driving delivery and execution oversight across a defined set of Turnaround workstreams in North America, ensuring progress against milestones and alignment with global strategy, standards, and decisions. This role partners closely with functional leaders and workstream teams to drive clarity, challenge progress, manage interdependencies, and ensure local execution remains on track against the broader Turnaround intent.

Reporting to the CTO / Turnaround Lead, the TO Program Director helps orchestrate the governance, execution rhythm, and performance tracking required to deliver the North America Turnaround agenda. Associates in this role will operate across a matrixed environment, influencing and guiding stakeholders across functions and levels to drive enterprise-wide executional excellence and ensure outcomes are delivered with rigor and pace.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and enable delivery across a defined set of workstreams for declared priority Turnaround area (e.g., Supply, Demand). This involves:

- Partnering closely with functional leaders and workstream teams to clarify scope & success measures and define resource requirements, timelines, and milestone deliverables

- Ensuring day-to-day execution remains on track and aligned to global Turnaround priorities and standards

- Constructively challenging workstream teams where progress, pace, or quality is off track

- Supporting teams to resolve barriers and maintain momentum toward critical milestones and overall goals

- Collaborate with workstream owners to develop and maintain workstream roadmaps and execution tracking that aligns day-to-day focus of stakeholders with the broader Turnaround intent, driving clarity, prioritization, and accountability

- Conduct risk assessments at the workstream and cross-workstream level to identify interdependencies, resource constraints, delivery risks, and key decisions needed for successful execution

- Proactively flag emerging bottlenecks and risks and support development of solutions to ensure timely intervention and prevent stalled progress

- Monitor and report on progress, escalating issues through established governance forums to ensure leadership has clear visibility to status, risks, and required interventions

- Support development of solutions

- Support implementation and tracking of Turnaround business cases and value delivery, in partnership with Finance and relevant functional teams, to ensure initiatives remain linked to intended impact and funding assumptions

- Work closely with other Program Managers to bring holistic perspective and enable strong, informed collaboration to ensure workstreams understand downstream/upstream implications of their work and other ongoing efforts

- Partner with TO leadership and functional stakeholders to prepare governance materials, shape decision points, and support enterprise forums required to advance the Turnaround agenda

- Leverage data and insights from across the organization to advise workstream leads and TO leadership on performance, risks, trade-offs, and actions needed to improve delivery

Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience managing high visibility or strategically important projects from planning to execution
  • Experience supporting large, cross-functional, and high priority strategic or transformation programs, including translating company strategy and ambition to actual initiatives and actively supporting to ensure execution roadmap development, execution tracking, and governance
  • Ability to organize teams around a defined scope, milestones, success measures, and resource needs across a variety of business topics
  • Experience identifying interdependencies, escalating risks, and simplifying complex information across stakeholders to achieve a common goal
  • Experience building relationships with key stakeholders to guide and influence others to execute strategy in a rapidly changing environment, often without direct authority
  • Strong stand-alone capability: ability to lead and do, independently tracking required routine and day-to-day work while operating effectively across matrixed teams
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex subjects and findings, both verbally and in writing
  • High degree of self-direction with the ability to seek innovative ways to achieve results efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Consulting or PMO experience in enterprise strategy or transformation environments preferred
