Position Summary
CGI is looking for an IBM Infrastructure/Storage Solutions Architect to support one of its clients in the evolution of its technology solutions and infrastructure.
Reporting to the Director, Technology Infrastructure and Shared Services, the successful candidate will analyze business requirements and guide the evolution of technology solutions, with a particular focus on infrastructure, storage, and IBM environments.
The role involves close collaboration with IT teams, internal stakeholders, technology specialists, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and configure technology tools and solutions within the assigned area.
• Analyze technology requirements based on business objectives and internal client needs.
• Participate in infrastructure architecture, analysis, and solution design activities.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, integrity, availability, and performance standards.
• Assess the technological and economic viability of proposed solutions.
• Conduct ongoing technology monitoring and identify gaps between organizational needs and existing capabilities.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation.
• Lead technology workshops involving stakeholders and specialists across various technology domains.
• Contribute to solution deployment and implementation strategies.
• Participate in projects and change requests through production deployment.
• Ensure quality control of implemented infrastructure solutions.
• Represent the team at Change Advisory Board (CAB/MEP) meetings.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance or training to IT teams when required.
• Contribute to the improvement and harmonization of technology processes, methods, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain three-year and five-year lifecycle plans for technology equipment and software.
• Collaborate with IT leaders, technology specialists, external consultants, and business units.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in networking, virtualization, security, databases, storage, and backup.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and VMware technologies.
• Experience with Azure and AWS environments.
• Strong knowledge of storage and security technologies, OpenShift, Load Balancing, Mainframe, Power, and Active Directory (AD).
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Availability for occasional travel between the client's offices in Laval, Montreal, Varennes, and Ontario.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70 000$ et 135 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
