Position Description:

Enterprise Transformation Architect - ERP & Business Process Modernization
Work model: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week on-site.

Position Overview
CGI is looking for an Enterprise Transformation Architect - ERP & Business Process Modernization to support a major transformation program for one of our clients.
The program focuses on modernizing the organization's ERP environment and business processes across several strategic areas, including Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other corporate functions.
In this strategic and execution-focused role, you will bridge business objectives, operational needs, and technology strategy. You will help define a coherent and sustainable enterprise vision and translate it into actionable capabilities, processes, solutions, and transformation roadmaps.

This role combines Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Solution Strategy, and Transformation Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Define the Transformation Vision
• Develop an integrated enterprise transformation vision.
• Define how business processes, applications, data, and operating models should evolve to support Finance and Manufacturing.
• Identify the business capabilities required to support the future operating model.
• Ensure ERP initiatives directly support the organization's strategic objectives.
• Develop transformation roadmaps connecting the current environment to the target state.
Connect Technology Decisions to Business Outcomes
• Translate ERP design decisions into tangible business impacts and outcomes.
• Clarify the capabilities and functionality enabled by key technology decisions.
• Identify organizational impacts and opportunities for process simplification and standardization.
• Provide pragmatic recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with Transformation Teams
• Work closely with ERP product and delivery leaders, business subject matter experts, solution and integration architects, and change management teams.
• Ensure alignment between business decisions, technology choices, and the overall transformation vision.
• Facilitate discussions across technology teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Challenge assumptions when appropriate while building alignment and consensus.

Define the Target Architecture
• Develop clear and pragmatic views of:
o Business capabilities
o Business processes
o Operating models
o Application architecture
o Data flows
o System interactions
• Maintain a practical and outcome-focused architecture approach without introducing unnecessary documentation or governance overhead.
Support Executive Leadership
• Develop executive-level recommendations, presentations, and decision materials.
• Translate complex technical and organizational topics into clear, concise, business-focused messages.
• Communicate effectively with CIOs, executive leadership, steering committees, and other senior decision-makers.
• Clearly articulate transformation challenges, options, impacts, and recommendations.
Candidate Profile
• Strong experience leading or supporting ERP-enabled enterprise transformation.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Manufacturing business processes.
• Ability to work effectively with executives and business stakeholders as well as architects and technology teams.
• Experience developing enterprise transformation strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to turn complex or ambiguous situations into clear and actionable direction.
• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively while building consensus.
• Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.

Experience & Qualifications
• 12-15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, ERP transformation, technology consulting, or business transformation.
• Experience with large-scale and international ERP programs.
• Experience within Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and/or Operations environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data management, and reporting solutions.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is considered a strong asset but is not required.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90.000-$175,000 .This role is an existing vacancy.
