- Machine design and manufacturing methods experience (Process equipment design, HVAC system design, Machining, Sheetmetal, Welding, Forming etc.) and familiarity with HVAC codes and standards: Example AG-1, ASME N509, ASME N510, ANSI13.1, WAC, SMACNA
- Performs standard engineering assignments with guidance from a mentor on most assignments and solutions. With support from senior engineers, evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications for tasks previously performed and special projects as assigned.
- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data (meetings, email, presentations, customer deliverables) and is able to adapt with flexibility.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study
