Full Job Description
As the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager, you will organize, design, and implement a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental program, building on a long history of regulatory compliance and people centric management practices. This is a leadership role with significant impact on organizational culture and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Direct/Manage/Supervise the development and implementation of environmental health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure and improve the safety of workers and their surroundings.

Identify and maintain the overall environmental health and safety goals of the organization.

Identify regulations for specific industry and local, state, and federal regulations and ensure the organization is in compliance.

Monitor changes in regulations and apply any updates to the organization's operations.

Document compliance with regulations and maintain for future audit needs.

Work with leaders from other functional areas to inspect the workplace to identify health and safety hazards and take actions to correct and prevent them.

Educate employees on safe and healthy working conditions to help avoid hazards in the workplace.

Investigate incidents and ensure all appropriate reports are prepared promptly and maintained according to government regulations.

Create and oversee emergency procedures and ensure emergency teams are prepared for potential incidents.

Promote a culture of safety in the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management or related technical field.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environmental practice in manufacturing.

Certification by Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) preferred.
