Position Summary

The HR Leader is responsible for providing strategic and hands-on human resources leadership across multiple operating sites. This role partners closely with business leaders, plant leadership, and functional teams to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, workforce planning, and compliance. The position requires strong experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments, including direct involvement with unionized workforces, collective bargaining agreements, grievance management, and labor relations strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic HR business partner to site leaders across multiple locations, aligning HR initiatives with business goals and operational priorities.
  • Lead and support HR activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistency in policy application, employee relations, talent practices, and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on labor relations matters, including interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Manage union-related activities, including grievance handling, investigations, arbitration preparation, contract administration, and participation in collective bargaining as needed.
  • Partner with leadership to develop positive employee and labor relations strategies that support a productive, respectful, and compliant workplace.
  • Advise managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, workforce planning, and organizational design.
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, leadership development, and retention initiatives for assigned locations.
  • Support employee engagement activities and foster a culture aligned with company values, safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans.
  • Support change management efforts related to business transformation, operational improvements, restructuring, or site growth.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR, Centers of Excellence, and site teams to implement standardized HR programs and processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong labor relations experience, including working with unionized employees and administering collective bargaining agreements.
  • Proven experience handling employee relations issues, investigations, grievances, performance concerns, and compliance matters.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, NLRA, and related labor requirements.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned sites.
  • Experience supporting both union and non-union locations.

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $89760 to $149330 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
