Join Siemens Energy as the Head of Sales NA&LA for Distribution Transformers, where you will provide strategic leadership to our sales function across North America and Latin America. Imagine driving commercial success and ensuring business continuity in a senior role that is pivotal to our Grid Technologies division. You will lead a high-performing sales organization, achieving ambitious order intake, revenue, and profitability targets. Engage directly with top-tier customers, negotiate complex deals, and manage the entire sales cycle from strategic planning to execution. Your leadership will translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, fostering a customer-centric culture and building critical cross-functional relationships to steer our business towards sustained market leadership in the evolving energy landscape.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Develop and execute the mid-term (1-3 year) sales strategy and annual operating plan for the Distribution Transformers business in North America and Latin America.
  • Define and monitor sales targets for order intake, margin, and market share, utilizing CRM systems for pipeline management and performance analysis.
  • Manage the departmental budget alongside your financial counterpart, conducting accurate sales forecasting and implementing pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics.
  • Analyze market trends, including grid modernization and growth in data centers and renewables, to adapt sales strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales managers, project managers, and proposal managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Drive business development in high-growth segments by cultivating strategic relationships with executive-level customers, including utilities and key industrial clients.


What You Bring
  • University degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 10 or more years of professional experience in B2B sales of complex technical products, preferably in the transformer or power distribution industry. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level, and vice versa.
  • Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems, transformer technologies, and energy transition market trends.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish and/or German language skills are a plus.
Travel, as required (30%).
