Sales Director - Life, Annuities & Health | Enterprise Software Sales

Remote: United States

Turn Industry Transformation into Enterprise Growth

Majesco is looking for an accomplished enterprise Sales Director to win and grow strategic relationships across the Life, Annuities & Health (L&AH) insurance market.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven enterprise seller who knows the insurance industry, creates opportunities rather than waits for them, and can lead sophisticated software sales from the first executive conversation through close. You will pursue new logos, expand strategic customer relationships, and help insurance organizations modernize how they operate, compete, and serve their customers.

Direct experience selling into the Life, Annuities & Health insurance market is required.

The Opportunity

You will own a strategic territory and the full enterprise sales cycle-from identifying whitespace and creating pipeline to building executive alignment, shaping the business case, navigating complex buying processes, and closing significant opportunities.

Your market will include life and annuity insurers, health and benefits organizations, TPAs, and other businesses across the insurance ecosystem. Employer-sponsored benefits represents an important growth opportunity as organizations modernize claims, disability and leave, voluntary and supplemental benefits, enrollment, and member experiences.

Success requires more than software sales experience. You need to understand how L&AH organizations operate, what drives their investment decisions, and how to connect modernization priorities to measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Your mandate is straightforward: create pipeline, win strategic business, and grow Majesco's presence across the L&AH market.
  • Build and execute a territory strategy that creates new-logo opportunities, displaces competitors, and expands strategic accounts.
  • Own complex enterprise sales from prospecting and discovery through executive alignment, business case development, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop senior relationships across business, technology, operations, and executive leadership and build consensus across complex buying groups.
  • Lead consultative conversations that connect customer priorities, including growth, modernization, operating efficiency, customer experience, and technology transformation-to measurable value.
  • Orchestrate internal experts and executive sponsors to differentiate Majesco, navigate competitive pursuits, and accelerate decisions.
  • Maintain rigorous opportunity qualification, account planning, forecasting, competitive strategy, and close discipline.

What You Bring

The strongest candidates combine enterprise sales performance with genuine L&AH industry credibility. You know the market, understand complex insurance buying environments, and have the commercial instincts to turn customer challenges into strategic opportunities.
  • 6 plus years of success in enterprise SaaS, insurance technology, or complex software sales, with a record of winning large, multi-stakeholder opportunities and achieving or exceeding quota.
  • Direct sales experience within the Life, Annuities & Health insurance market, including life insurance, annuities, group or voluntary benefits, disability, supplemental health, or related markets is preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to hunt for new business, open enterprise accounts, expand existing relationships, and compete against established incumbents.
  • Experience navigating lengthy enterprise buying cycles involving executives, business leaders, technology stakeholders, procurement, legal, security, and other decision-makers.
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling skills, executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into compelling investment cases.
  • Experience with disciplined enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Gap Selling, or comparable approaches.

Experience That Can Set You Apart

Experience selling enterprise insurance platforms, core modernization, claims or benefits technology, digital transformation, data and analytics, cloud solutions, or other mission-critical technology can accelerate your impact.

Relationships across carriers, TPAs, benefits organizations, brokers, reinsurers, or other participants in the L&AH ecosystem are also valuable, particularly if you have successfully led competitive takeouts, legacy modernization programs, or multi-year transformation opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

You will know you are succeeding when you create opportunities that did not previously exist and turn them into strategic, durable customer relationships.

You will build a healthy enterprise pipeline, establish credibility with senior insurance leaders, win new customers, expand Majesco's footprint within strategic accounts, and maintain command of complex pursuits from qualification through close. Just as importantly, you will bring market intelligence back into Majesco that strengthens how we compete and where we invest.

Why Majesco

Majesco gives experienced enterprise sellers the opportunity to compete at the intersection of insurance, cloud technology, data, AI, and industry transformation.

You will engage insurance leaders working through consequential modernization decisions, partner with experienced industry and technology experts, and have the opportunity to directly influence new-logo growth and strategic customer expansion.

If you are an enterprise seller who knows the Life, Annuities & Health insurance market, thrives on creating opportunities, and wants to help shape the next generation of insurance technology, we want to hear from you.

As a member of a rapidly growing and dynamic organization, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities as business needs evolve. The company reserves the right to vary, change, or update job duties and responsibilities based on business requirements. This role may require shifting priorities, learning new technologies, and contributing to projects outside of the initial scope.
