Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

Manage the implementation, growth, and ongoing support of Siemens Energy's new IBM Maximo MAS 9 business for Latin and North American customers. Reporting to the Engineering Manager-North America, collaborating with SE's remotely located O&M plants throughout North and South America. Maintains strong relationships with Plant Management Engineering, Sales, Marketing long-term programs, Data Analytics, key vendors, and service providers. Leads multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to provide CMMS/EAM services and associated information applications.

Lead and execute new SaaS projects using IBM Maximo and assigned by the Engineering Manager in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective way while providing the highest customer benefit. Be an integral part of a start-up business with Siemens to become a major player in CMMS provision. Support operating plants in meeting their goals of safety, reliability, availability, and efficiency by providing services and assistance in EAM.

How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
  • Leverage deep in-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo, gained at senior level in plant or back office management implementation or support of plant or fleet EAM strategy.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of a new strategic software initiative. This will retire our current legacy CMMS Applications with solutions that offer current industry best practice these include CMMS applications such as Siemens-Energy Omnivise ( BFS++) and IBM MAXIMO.
  • Be part of decision making team and process to identify the correct solutions for our customers.
  • Lead assigned team members from Siemens Energy and outside contractors, to realize goal of being the O&M EAM CMMS service provider of choice.
  • Understand and lead team in developing BI visualization and AI solutions and tools Utilize Tag ID's and KKS and other P&ID protocols to prepare and coordinate CMMS Asset Lists for implementation into the CMMS/EAM tools and enhance as required.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial approach to the group initiatives in new service business proposals and opportunities. Review contract and legal proposals and offers. Pro-actively manage the interface with key vendors and stakeholders Understanding customizing software's HMI interfaces to enhance user experience
What You Bring (requirements)

  • BA or BS degrees or any equivalent experience in fields related to Engineering, Business, Computer Science or applicable fields.
  • Deep experience of CMMS/EAM applications, particularly IBM Maximo 3.
  • Have an understanding of Power Plants, Industrial Equipment and their maintenance requirements, with Maximo's role in facilitating this.
  • Experience in data interpretation and analysis, particularly related to plant component
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% , including on-site presence during outages, special projects, and customer engagements, often on short notice.
  • Position may requires extended working hours and varied shifts with the possibility of weekend and holiday work, as required by accessibility to personnel, equipment and plant conditions.
