A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of Factory Repair Project Management, the incumbent will lead a team of project management professionals dedicated to managing service repairs and new manufacturing for critical energy components for Steam and Gas key customer segments. To meet these objectives, this position focuses on the core areas of leading and developing the project management team, overseeing the entire portfolio of complex factory repair and manufacturing projects, and managing key financial and stakeholder relationships. This ensures strong leadership, operational excellence in project delivery, and alignment with business targets for revenue and customer satisfaction. The focus will be on team leadership and complex project oversight in the energy sector. To be successful, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing technical teams within the energy industry and will have a strong foundation in project management methodologies, financial acumen, and proven leadership capabilities.

Strengthen team cohesion and cross-functional collaboration with factory operations and other internal stakeholders.
Oversee a portfolio of service repair and new manufacturing projects for Steam and Gas Turbine components, ensuring successful project execution.
Partner with factory leadership to maintain safety, quality, on-time delivery, and effective resource coordination, including vendor support.
Manage portfolio financial performance by driving margin and revenue achievement, controlling costs, and improving business processes.
Serve as the primary customer and stakeholder liaison, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and successful execution of commercial and logistical project requirements.
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in the energy or related heavy manufacturing industries. Candidates with less experience can be considered for lower level.
Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams is desired, with a proven ability to establish expectations and drive accountability.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred.
Strong and effective interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel as necessary up to 10%.

Steam Repair is part of the Project Management Complex Projects team which is centered around management and execution of large upgrades and component modernizations for the Siemens Energy fleet of Gas, Steam, and Nuclear power plants across the US and Canada.
