THE ROLEYou will own and manage our test lab environment, ensuring it is safe, efficient, and optimized for rapid hardware and/or software validation. This includes day-to-day lab management, equipment and tool administration, and inventory control for test assets, boards, components, and instrumentation. You will work closely with engineering teams to support product bring-up, validation, and ongoing test activities, making sure they have the right equipment, setups, and processes to execute high-quality testing on schedule.

You collaborate well with design, validation, and operations teams, and you communicate clearly about constraints, risks, and needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lab Management & Operations
- Own day-to-day test lab operations, including access control, safety practices, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Configure and maintain lab workstations, benches, racks, and test setups for hardware and/or software validation.
- Coordinate calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance for lab equipment and instrumentation.
- Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of boards, components, fixtures, instruments, and consumables using an asset-tracking system.
- Implement and enforce processes for check-in/check-out of lab assets and test equipment.
- Manage ordering, receiving, labeling, and storage of test hardware, cables, connectors, and other materials.
- Track usage and lifecycle of key assets to support capacity planning and budget recommendations.
- Support for Engineering Teams
- Provide hands-on support for board bring-up, system integration
- Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain lab documentation, including equipment lists
- Shipment of inventory between sites.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in a hardware or system test environment, ideally within semiconductors, embedded systems, or electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with common lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, DMMs, protocol analyzers, and signal generators.
- Demonstrated experience managing lab infrastructure and inventory, including asset tracking tools and basic procurement workflows.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and supporting multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Knowledge of ESD handling, lab safety standards, and best practices for handling sensitive electronic components.
