Role Overview

Reporting to the Metallurgical Superintendent, the Goldroom Technician will be responsible for day to day operation of the gold room, ensuring processing, security, data collection and production targets are met accurately and in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe, environmentally conscious manner and compliant with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the day to day running of the gold room to ensure the smooth and continual elution and stripping process is maintained at all times.
  • Maintain the day to day gold room security.
  • Maintain budget targets in all gold room cost codes.
  • Record all sludge, gravity concentrates and bar weights in the appropriate register.
  • General housekeeping duties to ensure that the process plant and work area is maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out data collection and maintain accurate data entry logs.
  • Establish effective working relationships with metallurgy and maintenance personnel to achieve high plant reliability and production targets.
  • Conduct workplace inspections.
  • Perform other duties as required.


What You Bring to the Table

  • Secondary School Diploma or GED.
  • Mill Common Core required.
  • Experience with Surface Emergency Response would be considered an asset.
  • Must be familiar with gold milling and refining processes.
  • Knowledge of the Delta V Process Control System is considered an asset.
  • At least five (5) years of Mill Operator experience and two years of Control Room Operator experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve process and mechanical problems.
  • Knowledge of goldroom processes.
  • Must possess a clear criminal record check.

Working Conditions

  • 7x7 rotational
  • Company will provide camp accomodation and travel allowance as needed

Salary Range:$62,250-$112,150 CAD

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
