Role Overview/Purpose:The Logistics and Camp Administration Supervisor oversees day-to-day logistics and camp administration for the Island Gold District, including travel, camp services, bunkhouse and housing accommodations, and related support for employees and contractors. The role is responsible for ensuring vendors deliver safe, effective, and reliable services in accordance with contractual requirements, agreed scopes of work, and service expectations.
The incumbent leads the Reservations team and Logistics Coordinators, providing direction, support, and performance oversight to ensure consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:- Supervise daily logistics and camp administration operations, including charter flights, camp services, bunkhousing, and housing accommodations.
- Manage logistics and camp services contracts, monitoring vendor performance, scope of work, contract compliance, and service levels.
- Coordinate with employees, contractors, and site departments to support a safe work environment and compliance with applicable workplace requirements.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that support effective logistics operations.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators aligned with business objectives.
- Review operational reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for corrective action or improvement.
- Conduct regular bunkhouse and kitchen walkthroughs and inspections to monitor service standards and identify deficiencies.
- Participate in the budgeting process and monitor budget performance, including monthly and quarterly tracking of logistics and accommodations-related expenditures.
- Support reporting and forecasting related to accommodations, reservations, flights, and operational planning.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and maintain effective working relationships with external contractors and service providers.
- Collaborate with the Site Services team to ensure camp maintenance issues are identified, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties related to logistics and camp administration as required.
Leadership & Team Management:- Support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and staffing for Reservations Agents and Logistics Coordinators.
- Provide day-to-day leadership by establishing priorities, service expectations, and performance standards.
- Ensure team members have the training, guidance, resources, and tools required to meet operational needs.
- Conduct performance reviews, support goal setting, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Review and approve timesheets and related employee requests.
- Foster a customer-focused, collaborative team culture that promotes reliable service delivery, accountability, and effective communication with site departments.
- Perform other supervisory duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:- Five or more years of experience in remote mining camp operations, vendor management, and accommodation management are an asset.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively by email and in person with employees, contractors, vendors, and site departments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational deficiencies, benchmark performance, and implement standards that improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze trends, assess issues, and determine appropriate action.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Working Conditions:- The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 7 days on /7days off (11 hour days).
- Company charter flights are available fromToronto, ON; Sudbury, ON; Rouyn-Noranda, QC; and Thunder Bay, ON.

- Pay or shift range: $98,600 to $147,900 CAD
