You will serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the annual focal review cycle, owning the end-to-end process from planning through execution and close. Beyond project leadership, you will play a critical role in developing, building, and maintaining global compensation analytics tools that empower the broader HR and compensation team with accurate, actionable data, while also driving the identification and implementation of technology solutions that streamline compensation processes.

What You Can Expect

Focal Cycle Ownership
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the annual focal (merit, bonus, and equity) review cycle, coordinating across HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure a seamless, on-time, and accurate process.
  • Develop and maintain the focal cycle project plan, including milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, system readiness, and post-cycle audits.
  • Partner with HRIS and People Analytics teams to configure and validate Workday for each focal cycle, ensuring data integrity and a smooth user experience for HR partners and managers.
  • Identify and resolve issues during the focal cycle in real time, serving as the escalation point for process, data, and system-related questions.
  • Conduct post-cycle retrospectives to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement for future cycles.

Analytical Tools Development & Maintenance
  • Design, build, and maintain compensation data analytics tools and dashboards that enable the compensation team and HR partners to self-serve insights on pay equity, market positioning, budget utilization, and more.
  • Own the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of these tools to ensure they remain accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with People Analytics and PowerBI teams to integrate compensation data into enterprise reporting frameworks and improve visualization capabilities.
  • Conduct regular analysis of compensation data to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness, surfacing insights proactively to leadership.
  • Actively explore and pilot AI tools to automate repetitive compensation tasks, enhance predictive analytics, and continuously elevate the team's analytical capabilities.

Technology & Process Optimization
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to streamline compensation analytics and operational processes.
  • Support the integration of new tools and platforms with existing HRIS infrastructure and other relevant systems.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to enhance and optimize Workday functionality for compensation processes, including merit planning, job architecture, and reporting.

Project Management
  • Lead key global compensation projects and initiatives from inception to completion, developing project plans, setting timelines, defining success metrics, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively address risks and challenges, and ensure successful delivery of objectives.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of experience in a compensation role within a large, complex corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Arts, Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and managing the annual focal/merit review cycle end-to-end.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining compensation tools and dashboards.
  • Proven experience leveraging technology to enhance compensation analytics and drive process efficiency.
  • Eagerness to explore and adopt AI tools and emerging technologies to modernize compensation workflows, accelerate analysis, and enhance the team's overall capabilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday; experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders.
