Job SummaryWe're looking for an experienced and people-focused
General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a dynamic, multi-concept dining and events destination in University City. This role oversees a diverse portfolio of dining outlets, from casual experiences to more elevated offerings, as well as a high-volume events program and a rooftop venue.
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the General Manager plays a key role in shaping the guest experience, building strong client relationships, and creating an environment where teams can thrive. This is a highly visible opportunity to drive operational excellence while supporting innovative culinary programming.
What You'll Do- Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant concepts and event spaces
- Lead financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Support, coach, and develop a diverse team across front and back of house
- Guide hiring, onboarding, training, and employee relations in partnership with HR
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and workforce planning to align with business needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and cross-functional partners
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and leadership team to deliver high-quality food and service
- Ensure consistent execution across high-volume service and large-scale events
- Maintain operational standards, safety, and compliance across all areas
- Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs, activations, and guest experiences
What We're Looking For- Experience leading operations in a multi-unit or complex foodservice environment
- Strong understanding of high-volume service and catering or events operations
- Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and driving performance
- A collaborative leadership approach with a focus on team development and engagement
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary, or a related field is a plus (or equivalent experience)
- Passion for hospitality, innovation, and continuous learning
