We are seeking a Senior Principal, Data & AI Go To Market to accelerate growth across the Ohio Valley region (Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Charleston, WV). This is a senior, client-facing growth role for an AI-forward leader with deep Data & AI expertise who brings a strong point of view on the rapidly evolving AI / data landscape and can confidently engage both executives and technical leaders. You'll support opportunities surfaced by sales, client, and account teams, and create follow-on demand through your own relationships and delivery insight. The ideal candidate is Columbus-based and highly engaged in the local market. This role reports to the Director of Data & AI Go-To-Market for Ohio Valley.
What You'll Do
- Lead Data & AI technical solutioning: Shape architectures and roadmaps across data modernization, data and AI engineering, data and AI governance, conversational BI, and data & AI strategy.
- Qualify and solution opportunities: Partner with client teams and sellers on discovery, executive conversations, workshops, RFPs, and multi-capability solution design.
- Generate account-embedded demand: Create follow-on opportunities through client relationships, delivery insight, and account collaboration; use selective thought leadership and events.
- Deliver blended outcomes: Balance hands-on billable delivery leadership with market growth contribution.
- Drive revenue impact: Meet revenue contribution target by helping close sales revenue, originating deals, and managing delivery revenue in a leader capacity.
- Build GTM capability: Contribute reusable assets, market insight, and capability input to Data & AI Go-To-Market.
- Serve Ohio Valley region: Work from Columbus, OH office three days weekly; client site as needed; travel up to 30% annually across the Ohio Valley market.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of relevant experience: Including 5+ years in consulting across Data, AI, and Analytics.
- Proven consulting sales-motion experience: Guide Data & AI opportunities from discovery through solution design and delivery mobilization.
- Broad Data & AI solutioning fluency: Depth across the capability set above, with a strong AI-forward mindset. Experience with one of Azure, AWS, or GCP for client solutioning.
- Modern data platform experience: Experience with Databricks or Snowflake; recommend practical platform approaches.
- Executive presence and collaboration: Engage senior client stakeholders and technical audiences and build credibility.
- Columbus-based market commitment: Live near Slalom Columbus office.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Principal is $165K to $200K. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
