AI Enablement, Senior Principal / Director
About This Role
This role is ideal for a consulting leader who combines deep transformation expertise with a passion for helping organizations accelerate AI adoption and realize measurable business value. Success in this role requires the ability to connect AI strategy, workforce readiness, organizational change, and business outcomes to help clients achieve sustainable transformation.
Location/Hybrid/In-Person: This position can be based in any market where Slalom has an office. While the role offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, travel is expected based on client and business needs. Leaders should anticipate working from a Slalom office or client site as needed, as this is not a fully remote position.

Our Workforce Modernization team helps organizations move beyond AI experimentation to achieve meaningful business impact. We partner with executives, business leaders, and teams to define AI strategies, accelerate adoption, and build the organizational capabilities needed to realize value from AI investments.
We help clients navigate the people, process, and technology changes required to embed AI into the way work gets done-enabling sustainable transformation, workforce readiness, and measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do
You will lead complex client engagements focused on AI adoption, workforce transformation, and organizational change. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping organizations develop and execute strategies that drive successful AI implementation and business value realization.
You will work across industries and functions to design and deliver AI enablement programs that align technology investments with business objectives, employee adoption, and organizational readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead AI enablement and adoption strategies for enterprise-wide AI and generative AI initiatives.
- Partner with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to define AI visions, roadmaps, governance approaches, and change strategies.
- Design and deliver workforce transformation programs that prepare leaders and employees to effectively adopt andutilizeAI tools and capabilities.
- Develop business cases, value realization frameworks, and success metrics to measure AI investment outcomes.
- Drive organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, learning, and change management efforts for AI-enabled transformations.
- Advise clients on responsible AI adoption, organizational implications, risk considerations, and operating model changes.
- Coach client leaders on AI fluency, AI-enabled ways of working, and strategies for driving adoption across their organizations.
- Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams and oversee engagement delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to business development activities, including account growth, proposal development, thought leadership, and practice development.
- Build andmaintainexecutive-level client relationships whileidentifyingopportunities to expand AI transformation initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in management consulting, organizational transformation, change management, workforce transformation, digital transformation, ora relatedfield.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation programs with executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience helping organizations adopt emerging technologies, digital capabilities, AI, or generative AI solutions.
- Experience developing value realization frameworks and measuring business outcomes from technology investments.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical business and workforce implications for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex engagements, and drive business development efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading AI transformation, AI governance, AI adoption, or generative AI enablement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI technologies, enterprise AI platforms, or other AI ecosystem solutions.
- Experience developing AI learning, capability-building, and employee enablement programs.
- Certifications in change management, project management, agile delivery, organizational development, or AI-related disciplines.
- Advanced degree in business, organizational psychology, technology, ora relatedfield.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the Senior Principal or Director level and are hiring across multiple U.S. markets. Salary ranges vary by location and leveling. Target base salary ranges below are representative of select U.S. markets.
The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Principal is:
Denver, CO / Chicago, IL / Atlanta, GA: $162,000 to $243,000
Seattle, WA / New York, NY: $177,000-265,000
San Francisco, CA: $193,000-289,000
The targeted base salary pay range for a Director is:
Denver, CO / Chicago, IL / Atlanta, GA: $206,000-309,000
Seattle, WA / New York, NY: $225,000-337,000
San Francisco, CA: $245,000-368,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
