As our Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Deliver and support client connectivity products/services end-to-end: inception, build, testing, release and production support, flexing across activities as demand changes
- Treat production support as core ("you build it, you run it"), including participation in production governance, monitoring, risk & control where applicable
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and business stakeholders to shape product/service direction, with strong domain knowledge and customer focus on end-to-end journeys
- Identify and prioritize technical debt alongside new functionality to maintain a healthy, sustainable platform
- Build reliability in by design by addressing non-functional requirements (performance, resilience, observability, recoverability)
- Ensure safe, predictable change delivery through small, regular, non-breaking releases, plus release/change execution and operational acceptance
- Participate in production support and operational rituals, including incident response, problem management, PIRs, retros and stand-ups; ensure root causes are fixed and improvements embedded
- Create and maintain technical test plans and evidence, including automated unit and integration tests, to ensure code quality
- Pair with teammates to deliver work and support others' development
- Communicate progress and learning through blogs/stories sharing outcomes and achievements
- Drive CI/CD automation and continuous improvement within the DevOps product/service team
- Stay current on tools/technologies and apply relevant cyber security and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, consent, data residency)
- Be self-motivated, able to learn quickly (including multiple programming languages) and perform with minimal supervision under pressure
What you'll need to be successful:
- Full-stack DevOps experience across development, testing and production support.
- Expertise and demonstratable experience in at least 2 programming languages (Java 21 or JavaScript) and handling multi-thread applications
- Relational database experience (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Working knowledge of Unix and a solid infrastructure understanding
- Experience designing/consuming HTTP APIs (e.g., REST)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of secure engineering practices, automated testing, and monitoring/alerting with incident triage fundamentals
- Strong collaboration and communication with a practical delivery mindset
- Willingness to learn across engineering, testing, security and operational support
- Fully test implemented solutions including writing Unit tests, in advance of User Acceptance Testing.
- Nice to have familiarity with AI tools/technologies
