As a front-end engineer, you will/may:
Use technology to solve user interface and UX problems
Transform defined software and UX design into code and deliver it on schedule using languages, libraries, and rendering technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Java, Objective C)
Retrieve data from existing sources, using appropriate technologies for your platform and use cases
Work backwards from the customer and collaborate with Product and Design to iterate on the best possible user experience
Key job responsibilities
We are building primitives across web and native platforms. Our connected components encapsulates a complex cloud workflow to provide an end-to-end functionality with a minimal boilerplate code. You will be responsible for implementing UI components and scaling our open source design system for web frameworks. We want to abstract away implementation details so developers can focus on building great experiences for their customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
