Position Overview:We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a lean, high-performing finance team. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, reporting, and business partnership, with direct exposure to senior leadership and real ownership from day one. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in FP&A, a natural comfort with complexity, and the communication skills to translate financial data into decisions that move the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and continuously improve the company's three-statement financial model, including monthly updates, assumption tracking, and variance reporting.
- Rebuild and modernize legacy models to improve scalability, support scenario planning, and drive process improvements that reduce manual effort across recurring workflows.
- Lead the Budget vs. Actuals process end-to-end, covering data consolidation, variance analysis and commentary, stakeholder meetings, and follow-through on key action items.
- Own the ARR model and all associated revenue reporting, including bi-monthly updates, sales performance metrics, and ongoing alignment with source systems to ensure a single, reliable view of recurring revenue.
- Maintain headcount reconciliations covering new hires, attritions, compensation changes, and open roles, with clear visibility into budget impact at all times.
- Support the annual planning process, including expense models, headcount plans, and top-line assumptions developed in close partnership with department leads. Drive monthly top-line and balance sheet forecasting.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual board and internal reporting packages, including deck preparation, data tables, and supporting analysis, with all materials produced in Google Slides and/or PowerPoint.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to department heads across the organization, providing analytical support on budgeting, headcount decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Support investor reporting by owning recurring data template builds, maintaining reporting accuracy, and responding to data requests in a timely and organized manner.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations in collaboration with the procurement and accounting teams.
- Drive ad hoc modeling and analysis projects in support of business priorities as they arise.
Qualifications:- 4-7 years of FP&A experience, preferably at a SaaS or high-growth technology company. Strong candidates from investment banking or management consulting who have transitioned into FP&A will also be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex financial models.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business metrics including ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, and unit economics.
- Ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance audiences and engage confidently with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP, and Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience at a company in the $25M-$100M ARR range with exposure to the planning and reporting challenges that come with that stage of growth.
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Hands-on experience with FP&A planning software such as Adaptive Insights, Jedox or Planful.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built and the ability to work with ambiguity is as important as technical skill.
- Experience contributing to or owning board-level deliverables.
