ALDI is seeking a Facilities Specialist ready to support central facilities initiatives, provide analytical problem-solving, and drive projects to completion with strong attention to detail. In this role, you will use repair and maintenance data to develop actionable strategies for continual improvement, manage cost saving initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert within your given area of responsibility. Starting Salary: $82,750
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $88,000 | Year 3 - $93,250
Work Location: Dublin, OH
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs projects, develops process documentation, proactive reporting schedules and assists in supervising projects from implementation through delivery.
• Conducts tests, evaluates results, creates active monitoring tools, and recommends ongoing process or operational changes.
• Supports their direct leader on topics for discussion at National committee meetings and international meetings as needed.
• Provides insights to management used for decision-making.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Researches and develops facilities project feasibility and develops success criteria and proposed advancement in area of responsibility.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data in ServiceChannel and standard facilities reports to identify anomalies in facility operations.
• Identifies, proposes, researches, and evaluates the use of new technologies and ideas to promote cost savings initiatives.
• Develops training plans to promote facilities processes and procedures, which is engaging and impactful.
• Works proactively to identify, capture, and report facility anomalies, as well as opportunities for facilities improvement.
• Creates documentation, recommends course of action, and oversees creation of new reports pertaining to facilities procedures.
• Analyzes and researches statistical outliers in ServiceChannel data and makes recommendations for correction following company information flow directives.
• Maintains a high level of expertise in ServiceChannel to provide support and training to the business as needed.
• Organizes effective communication logs to document correspondence and report appropriately.
• Supports special projects as requested.
• Develops processes, user documentation, and corresponding project details for distribution to all relevant users.
• Coordinates plans for testing, documentation, and training for project rollouts.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that departmental objectives are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies, Business, Engineering or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Environmental Studies, Business, Engineering required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
