Base Compensation Range: USD $90,500 – $148, 600

The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience with PySpark or Spark SQL
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Understanding of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse concepts
• Familiarity with Power BI and semantic modeling
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Git/version control practices

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric

• Develop ETL/ELT processes using PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL
• Implement and support Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions
• Design and maintain medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
• Create and optimize semantic models for Microsoft Power BI reporting and analytics
• Support Direct Lake and other Fabric analytical capabilities
• Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)

DP-203 or PL-300 certification is a plus
