The RoleThe Executive Key Account Director will build and close relationships directly with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and CTOs at $250M+ manufacturing enterprises - most of whom are already Rhino Tool House customers. This is not a transactional sales role. It requires credibility, presence, and consultative approach to engage senior executives around operational transformation, not just software features.
You'll work closely with RhiKnows leadership and Rhino Tool House's existing account teams to identify, cultivate, and close large enterprise contracts (target average deal size $300K+), while helping shape how RhiKnows is positioned at the highest levels of our customers' organizations.
What You'll Do- Build and personally manage relationships with C-suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO) at target manufacturing accounts
- Drive complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from first executive conversation through signed contract
- Partner with Rhino Tool House account teams to identify and prioritize top-tier accounts within the existing 150-account target list
- Represent RhiKnows and Rhino Tool House leadership in high-stakes, in-person executive meetings, requiring frequent travel
- Translate plant-floor pain points (downtime, quality, compliance, tool tracking) into an executive-level business case and ROI narrative
- Collaborate with the RhiKnows product and delivery team to ensure proposals reflect real deployment capability and timelines
- Provide market and account feedback to leadership to help refine go-to-market strategy and packaging
What We're Looking ForRequired:- Proven track record selling into and closing deals with C-suite executives at large manufacturing or industrial enterprises
- Experience in enterprise software/SaaS sales, ideally with deal sizes of $150K-$500K+ ARR
- Direct experience in or selling into manufacturing operations (automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors strongly preferred)
- Comfort and credibility operating at the executive level - this is a boardroom seller, not a technical demo seller
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%+) for face-to-face executive meetings
- Strong independent operator - able to build pipeline and manage relationships with minimal day-to-day oversight
Preferred:- Existing network of relationships among manufacturing executives (CEO/CFO/COO/CTO level)
- Experience selling operational intelligence, IIoT, MES, analytics, or related industrial software
- Background in a startup or early-stage business unit where playbooks are still being built
