Job Summary:

The Executive Director, Intelligent Automation & AI Solutions is a strategic technology leader responsible for building enterprise automation capabilities that improve efficiency, reduce risk, eliminate manual work, and enhance data quality. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this leader will partner with senior stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities and deliver scalable solutions using Agentic AI, machine learning, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, APIs, and modern integration technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and deliver end-to-end automation workflows across systems, teams, and data sources.
  • Design intelligent document processing, workflow orchestration, API integration, and AI-enabled automation solutions.
  • Establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, standards, and automation components.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and optimization.
  • Apply machine learning, natural language processing, classification, anomaly detection, and optimization techniques to improve automation accuracy and reliability.
  • Use structured and unstructured data to automate decisions, reduce manual review, and improve operational outcomes.
  • Oversee model validation, performance measurement, feedback loops, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
  • Establish controls for high-confidence extraction of monetary and other business-critical data.
  • Guide responsible use of emerging AI and data science technologies to create explainable, measurable, business-aligned solutions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing automation engineering and architecture organization.
  • Establish and lead an AI Center of Excellence that builds a cross-functional community, fosters collaboration across business and technology teams, promotes responsible AI best practices, and accelerates enterprise-wide adoption of AI capabilities.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent across AI, automation, integration, and workflow technologies.
  • Promote innovation, experimentation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Advise executive leadership on automation opportunities, emerging capabilities, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive enterprise technology leadership experience.
  • 8+ years leading large-scale automation, workflow, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success architecting and delivering complex enterprise automation solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work directly with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and complex application ecosystems.
  • Financial services, real estate services, banking, or professional services experience preferred.
  • Workflow and automation platforms such as Appian, Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Tungsten/Kofax, ABBYY, Azure Document Intelligence, BPM, and orchestration tools.
  • Agentic AI architectures, large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, human-in-the-loop solutions, and model governance.
  • Machine learning, classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection, natural language processing, semantic search, predictive analytics, model evaluation, monitoring, tuning, and MLOps.
