Nordstrom is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and strategically minded Executive Assistant to support theChief Merchandising Officerat ourSeattle corporate headquarters.The ideal candidate is adetail-orientedprofessional with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to manage complex priorities and multiple tasks in afast-pacedenvironment.

A day in the life

  • Administrative Support:Provide comprehensive administrative support to theChief Merchandising Officer, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Manage expense reports and budgets for theoffice.You will need to be comfortable in collaborating with other Executive Assistants across departments.
  • Communication:Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear,effectiveandtimelycommunication. Handle incoming calls and emails, prioritizing and responding asappropriate.
  • Meeting Coordination:Organize and prepare materials for meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Document Management:Maintainand organize important documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Special Projects / Events:Coordinate special projects and events as assigned, such as company town hall meetings and employee recognition events.
  • Confidentiality:Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Multi-tasking:Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.

You own this if you have

  • 10+ years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant, including experience supporting a Chief Officer or other C-suite executive (required).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Concur).Someone who is comfortable using AI in their day-to-day work would be a huge plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.

Pay Range Details
