Position Overview

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) serves as a strategic business partner responsible for maximizing the effectiveness, focus, and operational efficiency of a global revenue executive. This role extends well beyond traditional administrative support and requires strong business acumen, executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.

The Executive Assistant acts as an extension of the CRO's office, ensuring priorities are surfaced, decisions are supported, communication flows effectively, and critical business initiatives remain on track. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, discretion, and the ability to coordinate across global teams and stakeholders.

Location: Boston-based or nearby (ideal) / Eastern Time preferred

Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Leadership Support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CRO.
  • Anticipate needs, identify potential challenges, and proactively develop solutions.
  • Optimize the CRO's time, focus, and decision-making through effective prioritization and coordination.
  • Manage and triage executive communications, ensuring critical priorities receive timely attention.
  • Raise emerging priorities, flag risks, bottlenecks, and delays, and drive appropriate follow-up.
  • Prepare executive briefings, agendas, meeting materials, and decision-support documents.
  • Track key initiatives, commitments, action items, and deliverables to ensure accountability and execution.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Executive Inbox & Communication Management
  • Proactively manage the CRO's inbox and communication flow.
  • Prioritize incoming requests, identify urgent matters, and ensure timely responses.
  • Surface critical business issues requiring executive attention.
  • Draft communications and coordinate follow-up across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor commitments and escalate unresolved items that may impact business objectives.
Global Calendar Management
  • Own and manage a highly complex global calendar spanning multiple time zones.
  • Balance executive leadership meetings, customer engagements, board interactions, investor meetings, travel schedules, and strategic priorities.
  • Exercise strong judgment when managing scheduling conflicts and competing demands.
  • Coordinate effectively with executives, sales leaders, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the CRO's time is aligned to the highest-value business opportunities and revenue priorities.
Global Travel Management
  • Plan and execute complex domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Develop optimized travel schedules that maximize customer engagement and business impact.
  • Coordinate flights, accommodations, transportation, visas, travel documentation, and contingency plans.
  • Partner with regional teams to ensure productive and efficient travel itineraries.
  • Manage travel disruptions and last-minute changes with urgency and professionalism.
Event & Meeting Management
  • Lead the planning and execution of executive-level meetings and events, including:
    • Global Sales Meetings
    • Customer and Partner Events
    • Sales Leadership Offsites
    • Executive Roundtables and Dinners
    • Revenue Organization Meetings
  • Manage venues, vendors, budgets, communications, logistics, attendee coordination, and executive preparation.
  • Deliver seamless event experiences that support business objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as a central coordination point across the revenue organization.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership, sales leaders, customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate communication, alignment, and follow-through across distributed teams.
  • Represent the CRO's office with professionalism, credibility, and sound judgment.
  • Drive execution by ensuring stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and accountable.
Administrative & Operational Excellence
  • Manage expenses, invoices, procurement activities, and administrative processes.
  • Support leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, planning cycles, and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain operational trackers, reporting tools, and executive workflows.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance executive effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain systems that improve visibility into priorities, commitments, and follow-up actions.

  • Demonstrated success supporting global leadership teams.
  • Significant experience planning and executing executive-level meetings and events.
  • Extensive experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and modern productivity tools.
  • Experience working with confidential business information and executive communications.
