CGI Federal has an excellent opportunity for an ERP Business Systems Analyst II within our Intel sector, helping maintain and enhance critical financial management capabilities.
As an intermediate level ERP Business Systems Analyst, you will support both Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial system operations, conducting deeper functional analysis, managing escalations, improving SOPs, and contributing to testing and regression activities. This role combines customer support, business analysis, and quality assurance responsibilities in a high performance team environment.
This position is located on site in Springfield, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 functional support, performing root cause analysis on escalated ERP issues requiring deeper system or business process knowledge.
. Troubleshoot financial system workflows, data issues, and functional behaviors to drive resolution of mid complexity user issues.
. Package escalated issues with full documentation, reproduction steps, logs, and business impact for designated Tier 3/4 teams.
. Maintain and improve SOPs, training content, process documentation, and system workflow guides, enhancing Tier 1 and Tier 2 effectiveness.
. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression checks, and script execution to validate new releases and ensure system stability.
. Review and analyze release notes to understand functional changes and update documentation or guidance where necessary.
. Support daily help desk metric reporting and trend analysis to inform continuous improvement.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
. 2-4 years supporting ERP/financial systems or enterprise applications.
. Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
. Strong understanding of ERP business processes, functional workflows, and financial system behavior.
. Experience with SDLC, UAT, quality assurance, or configuration/change control practices.
. Ability to translate user issues into reproducible steps, clear documentation, and functional analysis.
. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across support tiers.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Active TS/SCI with polygraph
. Familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms such as Momentum, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
. Experience with testing methodologies, defect documentation, and workflow validation.
. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Change Management, or process documentation tools.
. Experience supporting ticketing systems, especially within structured ITSM environments.
. Strong organizational skills to manage support workload, documentation, and testing tasks.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
