As an
Equipment Technician based in Morgan Hill you will have responsibility for performing routine and preventive maintenance on fab equipment, vacuum pumps, and facility systems to ensure reliable operation and maximum uptime. You will collaborate with equipment and process engineers to maintain and optimize tools and processes used in sputtering, photolithography, electroplating, wet etching, and dry etching. You will diagnose and resolve equipment issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and meet manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform PM on fab equipment, including sputter, evaporation, photolithography, electroplating, and we/dry etch tools, ensuring optimal performance and minimal production downtime.
- Support tool installations, upgrades, qualifications, and production ramps.
- Partner with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Provide maintenance support for facility systems, including mechanical vacuum pump, cryogenic pumps, and related support systems.
- This position will be reporting to the Equipment Engineering Manager based in Morgan Hill
Requirements:
- Experience owning semiconductor tools in areas such as deposition, lithography, etching, facilities, or other fab areas.
- 3+ years of experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance.
- Ability to interpret/generate documents related to safety rules, operations, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Experience with tool schematics, including electrical and utilities diagrams.
- Hands-on experience using hand and power tools.
- MS Office applications.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
