Franklin Templeton is seeking an Enterprise Data Advisor (EDA) to serve as the primary bridge between the lines of business and the Enterprise Data Office, establishing a shared understanding of data across the organization, educating teams on available data assets, and ensuring Franklin Templeton data is governed, trusted, and usable at scale. The role connects business users, data owners, technology platforms, and governance standards to enable effective data adoption and regulatory grade data quality. The EDA works across programs and initiatives to guide teams away from legacy and manual data practices toward secure, well defined, and authoritative enterprise datasets while aligning data quality controls to business criticality and collaborating with Data Stewards, Data Owners, Data Producers, and Data Consumers.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate delivery of data driven solutions for assigned LOB (Line of Business).
- Participate in data and analytics projects for assigned LOB
- Support transition from legacy point solutions to governed enterprise data consumption
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships across assigned LOB
- Provide guidance for effective data usage across business processes
- Act as a single point of governance alignment
- Assess governance maturity and implement enterprise data standards
- Partner with Data Owners and Stewards to ensure dataset ownership and usage clarity
- Facilitate adoption and training of data assets and analytics tools
- Collaborate with technology teams and Business Relationship Managers
- Work with Enterprise Data Office (EDO) specialists to deliver business value
Qualifications- 5-8 years related experience in data management, data governance, analytics, or related discipline
- Experience supporting data and analytics initiatives within a Line of Business (LOB) preferred
- Understanding of Data Governance frameworks and tools, including:
- Data ownership and stewardship roles
- Data quality management principles and capabilities
- Data cataloging and metadata capabilities
- Data lifecycle and lineage concepts
- Enterprise data standards and policies
- Working knowledge of modern data ecosystems, such as data warehousing, cloud platforms and business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive alignment across competing priorities
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Data, Technology, Business, or related fields required
This hybrid position requires working in the office three days per week.

We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $110,000 - $130,000, depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
